Direct Supabase integration

Now I am using zapier with google sheet → supabase. This is not very effective, sometimes the workflow is broken because of a small change. If there is direct supabase integration it will be a killing feature to many people I believe.

I agree that maintaining Supabase integration could be a headache, but adding HTTP request in addition to existing webhook integration could solve it.

Supabase supports POST API calls to insert data to all tables, as long as you can provide apikey header and pretty standard JSON body (here you can use Mentions/Field values same as you do in Email/Discord/Slack integrations to help user structure the payload).

      That could work too.

Now the webhook is too naive. It will be more useful if we can send a custom http request (GET, POST, ... etc) and also custom header and params.

Hey, I understand this, but it seems too complex for now to maintain a connection with a database - mainly because of the database structure. Mapping columns etc would be painful, and hard to maintain.
Have you tried using our zapier integration directly with the supabase integration?

https://supabase.com/partners/integrations/zapier this should do the job just fine I believe!

I am using the zapier integration right now but it is not effective and costly.

I don’t think the workflow would be that fragile. Doing a database integration would be difficult but doing a supabase integration should not be that fragile and difficult because supabase expose api to the table schema. Then you can let user to select columns to map to.

if the table schema is changed for some reasons and workflow broken, you can just send out a warning alert email. This is not suppose to happens anyway because that should be the user’s fault.
