Better Builder UX! (especially for multi-page forms)

Feature Request

Unfortunately, the UX is a bit strange at times (you can't simply select a form element intuitively in the form structure on the left. It can only be done by clicking on the gear wheel)!

And if you work with several pages / steps, it gets really weird because you always have to click through the preview via the forward and back buttons to see the corresponding form element (instead of it just automatically jumping to the element on the corresponding page and displaying it after clicking on the gear wheel).

Is this also the case with you, or have I perhaps overlooked something?

In addition, the currently selected element should also be highlighted somehow on the left in the form structure!

In general, you can see that the app was mainly made for one pager forms. However, multi-level forms have been state of the art for some time now and should urgently be given more consideration. So please also consider something like Typeform (or even GoZen Forms)!

    Thanks for the great suggestion. We've already made some changes to highlight the block being edited, and we've added more shortcut on the form preview to make the whole thing more accessible.
    We will very soon add the functionality to automatically jump to the page containing the field being edited 🙌

    hey @Julien we could merge this with the other typeform request one which is most recent. the main 2 things remaining seems to be:
    1. the 1-question per page style where the advance to next page button acts on field completed trigger logic.
    2. having selectable answers which are buttons, think 2×2 grid-layout rectangular choices in the center of the screen, so user is fully focused on clicking 1 and it’s easy to see (large/pleasing/simple selection instead of smaller list-style text selections)

    just wanted to correct my last post #2: we already can do the buttons on a list vertically. however, typeform and others (scoreapp etc) have options which make these much more readable. Their question takes up the whole screen and the answer choices (A/B/C/D) are large rectangular buttons, layed out in a grid so the text in each button is relatively large and feels pleasing to select one. (instead of leaning closer to the computer screen to see what the little line items are saying)

    I feel this is one of the most under-rated change requests! Looking like Typeform is so crucial, all they did was made it pretty and look they still are doing great 8-10 years later not much has changed they still look the best! opnForm looks great but if it wants to compete with typeform I would say:
    1. 1 question at a time like typeform
    2. have buttons for multiple choice responses (less friction in form-filling) instead of just a dropdown where it's work to read what your options are
    3. at the end, grade/score/rate their answers with a little graph! similar to https://www.scoreapp.com/ this platform has been taking off among digital entrepreneur circles due to the ability to not only fill a beautiful form , but to have an immediate result satisfying the user/customer!
