Analytics Opt-Out Query Param for Testing & Uptime Monitoring

It would be great if there was support a query parameter we can add to urls for testing/debugging that will prevent those visits from being included in the from analytics. E.g. /form/hello-world-123?testing=true

This way, our own visits for testing purposes could be excluded from analytics, while also making it possible to set up uptime monitoring to check the forms periodically without impacting the analytics data.

    To add context for why uptime monitoring is important for your forms, I had several important forms set up via another provider. That service disappeared abruptly without any notice and it took me a fair while to realise all the forms had vanished. My own fault for the oversight of not setting up monitoring for the forms.

    There are several other cases that something like this could occur though, such as dns, cname or ssl issue etc. So it would be great imo to be able to avoid impacting the analytics by supporting an analytics opt-out query parameter, so that it could be used for uptime monitoring as well as manual testing/debugging.

      That’s a great idea! 🔍 Having a query parameter to exclude test visits from analytics would definitely help with more accurate data tracking, especially for testing and uptime monitoring.
