Know where your submissions come from

You can now see which campaign or ad brought each submission to your form. Add supported UTM parameters or click IDs to your form URL, and OpnForm saves them automatically—separately from the answers submitted by your respondents.

Campaign columns stay hidden by default to keep your submissions table focused. Show the parameters you need when reviewing or exporting submissions, then hide every URL parameter again in one click.

Embedded forms are covered too. Forms embedded with the OpnForm SDK automatically inherit supported campaign parameters from the parent page, while values explicitly included in the iframe URL take priority.

How to use it

  • Add supported UTM parameters or ad click IDs to your form or campaign URL.
  • Open your form and select Submissions.
  • Open Columns → Attribution & tracking.
  • Select Show detected, or choose another supported parameter.
  • Select Export to include the visible attribution columns in your CSV.
  • Use Hide URL parameters whenever you want to clear every attribution column from the table.

Good to know

  • Attribution columns are hidden by default.
  • OpnForm captures a validated list of campaign parameters and click IDs, not arbitrary URL parameters or the full parent URL.
  • In SDK embeds, an explicit iframe URL value takes priority over the same parameter on the parent page.
  • Attribution is also available in owner API responses, webhook and Zapier payloads, and SDK submit events under meta.attribution.
